WordRush has two game modes. Versus is a head-to-head race where each player sets three secret words for the other player. Party rotates the setter role so one player chooses a word and the rest of the room try to solve it.

WordRush is designed around the board rather than a dashboard. Timers, scores, player status, and feedback are kept close to the game so a round can move quickly on desktop or mobile.

Players can join without creating an account. A browser stores a display name and a generated game-session identity so a player can reconnect to a room while their session is active.
